Tuur exists to watch the price of trips you already booked. To do that it reads travel confirmation emails — and as little else as possible. This page says exactly what Tuur collects, what it never does, who processes data on Tuur’s behalf, and how to delete everything.

What Tuur collects

Your name and email address from your Google account when you sign in. The travel details extracted from confirmation emails: supplier, confirmation number, dates, prices, room or seat details, traveler names, and cancellation terms. A record that each email was processed (a code derived from the message, the sender’s domain, and a reference to the message in your mailbox) — but not the email itself. If you enable notifications, a push subscription for your device. If you connect Gmail, access credentials for reading your mailbox, stored encrypted.

What Tuur never does

Tuur never stores your emails — messages are read to extract trip details and the content is not kept. It never sends email from your account: the Gmail connection is read-only. It never sells or shares your data for advertising, and shows no ads. It never logs into your hotel, airline, or loyalty accounts.

Who processes data on Tuur’s behalf

Tuur runs on a small set of services, each receiving only what its job needs: Google (reading travel confirmations you’ve authorized), Anthropic (email content is processed by the Anthropic API to extract trip details, under terms that prohibit using it to train their models), Postmark (receives emails you forward to your Tuur address; Postmark retains inbound messages for up to 45 days on its systems), Nuitée/LiteAPI (hotel prices, and — only when you rebook — the guest name and email needed for the new reservation; their payment page handles your card, which never touches Tuur’s servers), Vercel (hosting and cookieless page analytics), Neon (the database), and Inngest (background jobs; email content never persists there).

Retention and deletion

Trip details are kept while your account exists so your history and savings stay accurate. You can disconnect Gmail at any time in Settings — Tuur gives back its access immediately and can no longer read anything. You can also delete your account in Settings: that permanently removes your trips, price history, notifications, and Gmail access, and revokes Tuur’s Google permissions. Operational logs that contain no email content are kept briefly for reliability and safety.
